Weight Loss & Workouts!

Also: A ton of people have asked me if I count calories, I don't. I do understand how to do that, but now I have gotten used to losing weight and not counting calories. I will explain all about it and how to figure out how many calories you can eat in order to lose weight, cut weight, maintain weight, gain weight, etc... If you have any other nutrition questions, please leave them here, or message me.

I tried it and it doesn't work!

A lot of people quit so soon after working out because they don't see results. They might be having results in their legs, on their back, or on their behind, but if we don't see shrinking in the stomach section and if our pants don't go down a pant size then "We Quit!"
Who does that hurt but yourself?

Blamin' it on the Kids

I hate when people blame their unhealthy lives on their kids. I've gained weight because I had a kid, I can't workout because I have kids, I don't have time because I have kids. All excuses. This is what I think:
Stay Motivated, you can be healthy, fit, and sexy even with kids...

Bringing Bright Back

I have not worn these pants in forever! Remember when the bright pants were in last summer? Hot Pink, Blues, Reds, Oranges, etc... Well here is one of them--bringing bright back baby, the right way:)
I have my other colors still, but it is still kind-of-winter and I don't want to be a fashion don't. So I wore it on a day that was a bit warmer than other days and I wore them very winter-ish. I put a grey shirt (neutrals) and a darker jacket, and lastly black flats. Oh, and I folded them up for a crop look to add a current trend.
I got tons of compliments today on my outfit, so what do you think?

Grown Up Ballerina Too-too!

I bought this dress at Rue 21 for $5.00 a few weeks ago, but never used it b/c the skirt fit perfect but then the top went only up to my bra line... I decided to use a seam ripper and take out the serged stitch that had the skirt & top together and used the skirt by itself today with one of my fave purple shirts. I am fixing up the top to make it a bandeau top that I can wear underneath other shirts or suit jackets.

Twirling around in my grown-up ballerina too-too:)

Anyways, what do you think of the skirt? Not bad for $5.00 huh? I even did a few twirls in it cuz it was just too freakin' cute! lol.
The boys really love Angry Birds for iPad. So much fun!!!

Shorts, Sandals, and white legs!!

We had another fantabulous & gorgeous day today! ah! So amazing! I even went running after not running for about 2 weeks. I was feeling "ugh." (do you know what I mean?) I ran for 30 minutes outside. First outside run of the year! Yippee!
I had classes pretty much all day but as soon as I got home I put on my running shoes and just enjoyed running. I even set a new PR for the trail I always run. From 29:08 to 28:46! That's w/about 5 extra pounds too! I think it was because my legs were fully rested.
Yes I gained 5 pounds. Ugh. That's what happens when you don't workout and eat whatever is at your grasp. I just can't do that, but somehow I've been doing it for the past few weeks. I got extra motivated today when we found out we might "might" get orders for NY! AHH! Super excited! (If I'm moving to NY I must lose weight so I be that super stylish girl my smaller sized jeans and feel uber chic & like a total model/fashionista. lol.) But I won't hold my breath since we don't find out for another month if we will get it, and someone might take it by then. Please pray that we will though... it would be a dream come true!  Anyways, I have an OOTD from tonight's dinner at our friend's new house. Gorgeous home... totally makes me want to buy a brand-spankin' new house again. So I leave you with my "spring" outfit of the night. lol. Since I just wore it for dinner, and it was super comfy, I will be wearing it again tomorrow--if it's gorgeous out. *cross your fingers*.
I'll change it up and then tomorrow you can see what I did... probably heels & a cute sweater and long necklace, probably w/a messy bob... I don't know. (btw: gotta tan my white legs) We'll see what my mood's like.
So a lot of you asked what I got for V-day... I got a great present: an iPad!!!!! Yes, and iPad! I wanted one so bad and since we paid off all our debt, had money in savings, we used our blow money (extra money) and got an iPad.... Hubby doesn't know it---but I'm getting him one w/engravings for our anniversary. Hee-hee.... he's gonna be psyched! I am so far completely and utterly in love with it him. (ok, it).

Here is my OOTD. Super Relaxed: Hope you love it! Love you guys bunches!

I look high on this pic... nope, I'm just tired. LOL

By the way---I made this amazing tote bag I'm wearing for one of my sewing classes. It's the perfect size for my drawing/sketching pads... Super cute, ain't i? Plus the details is what I love--lace & pearl accents! What do you think?

Valentine's has come & gone...

Valentine's Day has come and gone but I can still feel the love in the air. It is so gorgeous out and my white car finally got a car wash and it is sparkling. Something it hasn't done in many weeks. The snow is pretty much melted except for a bit of snirt here & there. I am feeling so much better. That flu hit me slowly but then sent me to bed all achy for days. I still have a bit of stuffyness but besides that, I am feeling a lot better.

So how did everyone do with their 3 pound challenge? Did you lose any weight. Unfortunately I was sick and couldn't workout and only ate so I didn't lose a single pound. Blah. It's okay though. We had a lovey-dovey V-day breakfast, my Sunshine, my hubster and I. Then my hubster gave me the most amazing Valentine's day gift ever, and later that night we had a romantic home cooked dinner. How bout ya'll? What did ya'll do? Did you get all romantic w/flowers, chocolate, and lots & lots of smooches? I hope so! I love V-day!

Anyways, I have a class to get to and I hope to have an OOTD tomorrow for today's outfit. Comment below and let me know if anyone lost weight and what you did for V-Day. Much Love Glamazons!

I figured it out:)

I am sick. I am at home in my bed surrounded by snotty tissues. Yup-sexiness at it's best. I hope all of you are feeling nice & healthy. If you are, then I'm jealous. I hate being sick. I missed  my art class today, which I like. Sent the hubs to turn in my last art project so it wouldn't be late. Wonder what everyone thought when hubs came to the class in his uniform to turn in my homework... bet everyone was wondering who it was. lol. Anyways. I don't have an OOTD today b/c well, you would see pajamas and tissues, not the best OOTD. But thanks to Cat over at the C.W. who told me all about imgur.com I know have an OOTD for yesterday's outfit. I ran out of room at google, but I can upload them at imgur and share here. Whoo-hoo! Thanks a ton Cat!
Here goes yesterday's OOTD. Very simple since I didn't feel so great but I thought a bit of color would make me look less pale & sick. Ya think it worked?

Football

Today is Superbowl Sunday. I have tons of homework to do but our friend rented the _blank_ theatre and invited us to go watch the Superbowl on a 40 foot screen. Wow. Movie sized football. Sa-weet. The tough thing is that I have homework and I don't like cramming at the last minute. So what shall I do? Football or Homework? You'll find out tomorrow I guess. I'll take pics if we go.
Here is today's OOTD. Went to church, then out to eat at Olive Garden.
