Orange OOTD

My son is so in love with Annoying Orange videos right about now, they are quite a bit annoying, but they are also funny. Anyways, I thought about the show after I saw these pics of my orange shirt. Here is the link to the Annoying Orange YouTube Channel and also up on top is the link to their website, so go get annoyed! :)Hope you like my pretty casual, yet cute outfit:) Also, I was wearing this in the morning, but then it got really hot and I had to change! Also, today is my Sunshine's 1st Picture Day... so excited to get his first school pictures. I told him that when they told him to smile to just imagine he farted, and that made him laugh... the bestest "real" smile in the world. Will share them when we get them later on... on to the fashion we go!

How to: Twisted Curls, Breezy Hair!

Yesterday I posted this Outfit of the Day and I had these curls in my hair. I told ya'll I would have a tutorial for ya'll on how I achieved this look, and here it is! Enjoy!

YOU WILL NEED:
hair pins or hair clips
Garnier Fructis Hair Spray (or your choice)
Optional but helpful: Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Spray
Optional: Scarf
Right after you wash your hair towel dry it so that it's no longer dripping water. Then, twist your hair in sections and pin them to your head. The smaller the section, the smaller the spirals, but if you want bigger ones, then get bigger sections.
Use hairpins or hair clips to pin to your head!
Yeah, I know, I look like Medusa! lol

Leave them on for at least an hour until they are almost dry. Use a blow dryer on them to speed up the process. I left them on for about 3 hours while I cleaned the house, got ready, did my makeup, etc... If you do this before bed then put a scarf on your head while you sleep so they don't get frizzy. I added Garnier Fructis waves Spray while they were twisted up.
Garnier Wonder Waves
Once they are pretty dry, or completely dry, start undoing your twists.
Make sure you check your hair for any extra hair pins or hair clips you might've missed!
Now tossle your hair to make the spirals messy and breezy:)

Make sure you scrunch the top to add volume!
Flip your head over and tossle!
Now get your Garnier Fructis Hair Spray and spray your hair to keep your waves!

Make sure to spray the tips and if the ends aren't curled, spray the ends and twirl around your finger to create a curl:)
Now enjoy the gorgeous waves!
By the way, check out the awesome crochet hat I made! How do you love it?

Pink Panther (Day 16 of 30)

I found this gorgeous silk shirt at a vintage shop a couple of weeks ago and I hadn't worn it yet. I love the color, my fave of course. I thought today would be a great day to wear it since it was such a gorgeous day! By the way, I just noticed that the trees are starting to turn color... Orange & yellows, soon red... I love when the trees get all red! It means Thanksgiving is right around the corner! =)
Tomorrow I'll have a tutorial up on an easy way to get some waves in your hair like the ones I have here. I love how my hair looks in these pictures. It's so breezy and it looks like I just woke up with these natural curls... I didn't! LOL. So come back tomorrow for the tutorial! :) On to the fashion we go!

Check out the awesome pop of color on the inside of this clutch! Gor-geous!

So what do you think of my outfit?
"Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can't love and respect yourself-no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are, completely; the good and the bad, and make changes as you see fit-not because someone else wants you to be different."
‎"Sometimes, people are unable to persevere because they have limited expectations for themselves or accept the constraints placed on them by others. I've learned firsthand that anyone can surpass these perceived boundaries and amaze themselves, if they're prepared to project, prepare and persevere. - Susan Ershler in FitnessRx for Women Magazine
