Hi guys, I had promised some of you a HOW TO video on how to make these cute crochet flowers that I made a few weeks ago for a T-Shirt/Tank that I wanted to vamp up. Here is the tutorial & the directions on how to make them. I just want to point out that I am NOT a professional, but have learned this through practice and through books/videos. I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Don't forget to go LIKE my Glamour Glory FB Page & to check out my YT channel for my newest Videos:

Step-by-Step Directions Below:
Make a Starting Knot by holding the tail of yarn up, wrap around finger 2 times, pull over the string on left side over, then pull the left one over again, then pull the left one over for a third time, pull up, it creates a starting knot. Put needle inside loop & tighten your starting knot.
Make 4 Chains
Slipstitch into the first stitch. (Means, go into first chain, grab yarn & pull through, pull through loop. You will end up with a circle & a hole in the middle.
Chain 2.
Now do 9 single crochets. (Means: Go into circle, pull yarn through, wrap yarn again, pull through 2 loops. Do 8 more.) You will be crocheting the tail into the single crochets so that it does not unravel.
SlipStitch into second chain you made. (Means: Go into second chain {2 pcs of yarn, not just one} Pull yarn through, and pull through loop.)
Chain 2.
Double Crochet. (Means: Wrap yarn around hook, go into the NEXT chain, pull yarn through, wrap yarn again, pull through 2, wrap yarn again, pull through last 2.
Grab Yarn, go into SAME chain, grab yarn, pull through, {there will be 3 loops on hook now}, grab/wrap yarn again and go through ALL 3.
SlipStitch. (Means: Go into next chain, grab yarn, pull through, pull straight through loop.
Repeat 6-9 until you make a total of 5 petals.
When you get to the end. Pull the remaining loop from the last slipstitch, hold w/finger, cut the back excess string, pull string through, and just wrap into the flower 4-5 times to secure {as shown in video} and then cut any excess. You may also cut any extra string from starting knot.
Enjoy your gorgeous Flowers! :) To make bigger flowers, don't make them as tight and they will automatically be bigger, or make 8 chains instead and you will end up with a bigger hole in the middle and also an extra petal. :) Tag me on FB when you make yours!
Hi everyone, so I haven't done a Music Monday in like... forever, so I thought today would be an awesome day to do it because I am so in love with this CD. It has been so great to find a CD that you can just put on repeat & listen to it all over & over & over again. There are only certain cd's that I have that I can say have had that effect on me and this is one of them. I put a link to each song on the CD so that you can listen to the songs and then go out & purchase it. No joke. This CD is amazing. Plus, it comes w/a DVD that you can pop in and sing along with. It is the Jesus Culture CD and it is such a great CD because you are not just listening to the songs but you are worshipping along with it. I have it in my car and then I have it on my iTunes library and I just turn it on at home and it just makes me worship and it feels like it's just me & God. This CD is great for families too because even my 5 year old son loves the music. His favorite song is #8- Where you go I go. We all just worship and sing in the car and then when I'm at home by my lonesome self I pop in the DVD and get on my knees and worship and on some songs I just have to stand up & jump with my microphone in hand. (It's great practice for all you worship leaders out there.) There are many different singers on here, Cassandra Campbell, Sarah McMillan, David Gate, Matt Redman, and many others! Plus, one of my favorite singers: Kim Walker. Her voice is in the same key as mine so I can sing her songs with ease. I hope that you take the time to listen to the songs & "favorite" them on YT or even add them to a playlist, like I've done. Also, feel free to check out Kim Walker's songs on YouTube also. She's got some amazing songs off her CD Here is My Song. My fave on there is OPEN UP HEAVEN. Hope you enjoy this Music Monday Pick!

I found this top for a whopping $1.00 last week and it is perfect when I belt it with the new belt hubby brought from the Philippines. I know not many would think to pair it with this gorgeous turquoise color, but even though this is a print, all the colors are neutrals and thus you can add a pop of color. I decided to add the color w/the accessories. The Pants are from Gap and I got the wedge sandals at a store called Shoe Carnival for only $5.00! What a steal! The purse is a vintage find at a garage sale for 50 cents... Hope you love! btw... I'm feeling a bit under the weather... not cool.
"Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can't love and respect yourself-no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are, completely; the good and the bad, and make changes as you see fit-not because someone else wants you to be different."
"Sometimes, people are unable to persevere because they have limited expectations for themselves or accept the constraints placed on them by others. I've learned firsthand that anyone can surpass these perceived boundaries and amaze themselves, if they're prepared to project, prepare and persevere. - Susan Ershler in FitnessRx for Women Magazine

I enjoyed this book, it is slower than I thought it would be, but it must be since the author is bringing you up to speed on all the things the main character does not know, then it's ok. You are finding things out just as he is, in a wa...
