Red Vintage

Hi guys, I hope all of you had a very merry Christmas, I wore this little number. It's red, it's vintage, and I love it. Many compliments on it. That little purse I'm holding is actually a cross back purse, but I shortened the chain by wrapping it around many times. It's got a gold lion on the front and I really, really love it! I've started collecting gold lion jewelry, belts, and now a purse! love it. It was one of my Christmas presents :)
Also, my birthday is tomorrow and I am quite excited! My friend and her family is coming to visit and should be here tonight and tomorrow hubby is throwing me a birthday party. My friend Lindsey & I both have the same birthday so we are having a combined party with lots of yummy food, cakes, friends, and games! I hope all of ya'll have a great day today & I really hope you love my Christmas dress. For my birthday, I'm going flapper!!! I found my black 20's dress and it's g-g-g-gorgeous! :D

Sunshine was very prepared for Santa.

My Latest Creation: Pleated Skirt

This is what I wore today after a very long time working on it. It was well worth it because I think it is my favorite piece that I have designed & made. I used a beautiful silk print for the front of the skirt and a beautiful silk cotton fabric in a light turquoise color for the rest of it. It came out great, don't you think? Also, I designed & made these gorgeous earrings with onyx beads from the Philippines. Leave me a comment, let me know what you think. I will be doing a lot more DIY's on here & my YT Channel, and will be making another one of these skirts, with probably 1/2 the amount of pleats. So stay tuned. Don't forget to check out my FB PAGE & LIKE! Thanks! :)

Will post a better (closer) look of these earrings on my fb page.

Peplums & Such

Hey guys! So on the last post I showed you some illustrations on a dress or 2 I was planning on making. Well, I wore the one I made yesterday to go out to eat with friends and I loved it! If you've LIKED my FB Page, then you've seen it, but either way, I'm putting some pics on here. Hope you love it as much as I do! We ate at a Japanese place & we ordered these Sushi rolls... they were so delicious!!! The long one was my fave!

I wore these babies- LOVE them! Got them at Target:)
Here is my illustration and dress so you can compare. I did decide to switch the side of the top bc I always place my hair to the front on the left side, so I wanted my right side to be bare. So what do you think?
Hope everyone is having a great week and if you are taking finals: GOOD LUCK!

Vintage Treasure

Hi everyone, today I am wearing a dress that is vintage and is also very VERY special to me. My mom passed away when I was four and the only dress that I got of hers was this one. I love this dress, the colors are so pretty and though it may not be "trendy" it is beautiful & timeless. It is 30 years old, if not more! It is in excellent condition, and I plan to keep it in that condition & pass it on to my daughter one day. I wore it with vintage belt and earrings and with eyelit detail brown heels from Charlotte Russe. I hope you love it as much as I do. :)

and then I changed to this to get more casual while doing some shopping at Target:)
I made the floral printed button up!
 Here's hubby's OOTD

Top, pants, & Cardigan are Gap, Watch is Bulova and everything else is???. (sorry not much help on that!) Later hubby changed into jeans to make it a bit more casual. Cute huh?
P.S. I bought these babies today! :)
and I'm planning on wearing them with the new dresses I made. Here are my illustrations! Check out the next few OOTD's to see them on me!

Polka Dot OOTD

Hi guys, did I tell ya'll I was working on a new skirt? I can't even remember. Oh well. I was, and technically I still am. I am making a very cute skirt out of a long sleeve shirt & will for sure do a DIY bc I got tons of responses to do it again. The skirt I'm wearing on this outfit of the day was another one of my creations. Hope you love it as much as I do. The fabric is silk. Let me know what you think! Also, we got to see Santa today. Hubby's unit put on a small Xmas thing for the family and had Santa there & the kids even got a free gift. One of Sunshine's requests was a helicopter, and guess what? Santa had one there waiting for him. Pretty sweet huh? Hope everyone is having an awesome Sunday. Gotta go now, my Sunshine is performing at church today:)

Accept who you are, completely; the good and the bad, and make changes as you see fit-not because someone else wants you to be different."
