Men's Shirt: McCall's M6044

I made this shirt for my husband here. My stepson wanted one also so I made it in this gingham fabric that he chose. It came out great. It's a size Large and the fabric is pretty thick so it works well for the fall/winter days when it's colder. It didn't take me as long as hubby's shirt did. This one took me a day from the cutting to the very end, off and on. I gotta say, I really like this pattern. It's super easy and you can even change the collar and cuffs with another fabric and have a different color, though, both my hubby and son like to roll up the cuffs so you can't really tell anyways. (Truthfully, I didn't even finish hubby's cuffs. They are on, but I didn't add buttonholes or buttons for that exact reason:) Well, I hope you like it and I even lined up the pockets so nicely that you can't even tell there is two front pockets!

Can you even spot the pocket? Man my lines match up great!
What do you think?

"Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can't love and respect yourself-no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are, completely; the good and the bad, and make changes as you see fit-not because someone else wants you to be different."

I've learned firsthand that anyone can surpass these perceived boundaries and amaze themselves, if they're prepared to project, prepare and persevere. - Susan Ershler in FitnessRx for Women Magazine
