Florals & The Hunger Games

My backyard is looking so wonderful... the grass is growing and the vines have wrapped my tree and have made my huge butterflies pop! I had to pose next to the tree so ya'll could see it. The bushes on the bottom will be sprouting flowers very soon, and I love it! Will be posing next to various spots in my backyard bc seriously, it's too pretty not to pose back there... Hope ya'll love my other floral dress. I had a little shopping day at Target yesterday and will be posting a video haul in the next couple of days on my YT channel so go check it out:) Also, saw Hunger Games today and I liked it, it wasn't as great as I thought it would be and truthfully it was a bit of a letdown. I expected so much more for the movie. I did like the actors they chose, except for Gale & Peeta. (I wish they were switched) Now, I haven't finished reading book 2 & 3, so I'm hoping that (after watching the movie) Katniss & Gale end up together. (PLEASE DON'T RUIN IT FOR ME and tell me what happens:) Anyways, I liked it enough to want to watch the second one when it comes out.
Did you watch it? What did you think? Did you read the books first?

Spring Florals

It is such a beautiful day outside! All the trees are blooming and the grass is getting greener by the day! The days are also getting hotter, and by the looks of it, we might be having a very, very hot Summer this year. I decided to dawn this pretty, floral, pink spring dress. I bought it at Forever 21 last Summer and I love it. My husband loves me in these Spring dresses and I love how comfy and cute they are! I paired it with a cute light pink cardigan that has an eyelit detail on the front; I bought it at Rue 21. My shoes are Target and they are comfy, but I'm afraid this might be the last season I wear them, they might not last all Summer since I wear them like crazy! Hope ya'll love the OOTD and that ya'll are having a wonderful Spring day:)

Spring Maxi Stripes

Hi everyone! I know I haven't posted in a month, but life has been hectic, my stepson just moved in with us and flew from all the way in the Philippines. We have been spending a lot of family time together introducing him to the American culture and food. I have also been sick with the flu for the past two weeks and have felt so horrible. The only thing that is sticking is this nagging cough that makes me sound like an old man hacking! lol. Anyways, thanks to all of you who have sent me notes to let me know that ya'll were missing my posts, made me smile. So I gladly, and finally, bring you another OOTD. This is the skirt I won from the Lady Lux Vintage Giveaway and the skirt is by Delmonicole. I love it! It was a hot day today and to celebrate the start of Spring I decided to wear it:) I paired it with a simple cotton-spandex tee w/lace insert on the neckline, a pair of comfy wedges and my snakeskin purse. I am really in need of a summer purse, we'll see if I get one sometime soon, for the meantime, my fall purses will do. Hope ya'll love it!

"Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can't love and respect yourself-no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are, completely; the good and the bad, and make changes as you see fit-not because someone else wants you to be different."
‎"Sometimes, people are unable to persevere because they have limited expectations for themselves or accept the constraints placed on them by others. I've learned firsthand that anyone can surpass these perceived boundaries and amaze themselves, if they're prepared to project, prepare and persevere. - Susan Ershler in FitnessRx for Women Magazine
